KANJI GUIDE
The apricot tree. A common name character for girls, and easy for any Japanese reader.
The character in 武士道, the way of the samurai, and in 柔道. Read dō, and the head of it is taken for do.
The orchid. One of the four plants of classical painting, standing for quiet nobility.
A younger brother, and anyone junior to you. In 弟子 it means a disciple.
